A cloth merchant on his way to Agra was shot dead in Shikohabad town in Uttar Pradesh Wednesday by gunmen who escaped with his suitcase containing over Rs.100,000, the police said.

Arvind Agarwal was on his way to the bus station when he was fired at, police officer Rajesh Tiwari told IANS.
