A senior police officer in Madhya Pradesh was seriously injured in a road accident in Hoshangabad district late Thursday.

Hoshangabad District Superintendent of Police A.K. Saxena, along with his driver and security guard, was injured when his car hit a tractor trolly. The three were admitted to the district hospital where their condition was stated to be serious.
