Two people have been arrested and hashish worth Rs.50 million in the international market was recovered from them, the Ghaziabad police said Sunday.

Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Ratan told reporters that acting on a tip-off the Kotwali police intercepted a vehicle coming from the Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area near the Maha Maya Stadium and during checking found 50 kg of hashish hidden under the seats.

The two arrested men were identified as Aslam and Alisher, both residents of Ghaziabad.
