Six people were killed and five others injured when a goods carrier vehicle collided with a State Roadways bus in Kanpur Tuesday, the police said.

'All those who received serious injuries have been admitted to the Kanpur district hospital,' Ranveer Singh, a police officer, told IANS.

The accident took place in Kanpur's Shivrajpur locality when the Roadways bus coming from Delhi collided with the Matador. The drivers of both vehicles ran away, the police said.
