Three killed in road accident in Delhi

Three people were killed when a goods carrier hit another in west Delhi saturday night, the police said.

Rajender and Shambhu, the driver and the cleaner of a Canter truck, and labourer Rakesh, who was sitting with them, died on the spot when their speeding vehicle hit a truck trailer on the Rajouri Garden flyover.

According to the police, the trailer driver fled from the spot.

In a case of drunken driving, three teenagers were killed when their speeding car hit the road divider on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway early Saturday morning, though the fourth occupant of the car miraculously survived. He has been freed on bail.
