A young couple, married just six months back, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in their house in northwest Delhi, the police said Wednesday.

According to the police, Priya, 24, was found lying dead on a bed inside their Shalimar Bagh house Tuesday morning.

'Her body bore strangulation marks,' a police official said.

The body of her husband Dheeraj Kumar, 28, was found hanging from the ceiling in the same room.

"The house was locked from inside and the bodies were discovered after the door was broken open," the police officer added.
