Three policemen killed in Jharkhand road accident

Three policemen were killed and four injured in a road accident in Gumla district of Jharkhand, the police said Friday.

According to the police, seven policemen were on a patrol when their vehicle was hit by a truck near Pindajora village, 130 km from Ranchi, Friday evening.

Three policemen died on the spot in the accident. The injured include Suresh Singh, officer in charge of Kamdara police station.

The driver of the truck managed to escape from the accident spot. The injured policemen have been admitted in the local hospital where doctors said the condition of two was critical.
