A robbery bid was foiled with the arrest of a man while he was trying to snatch a bag carrying Rs.723,000 from an official of a private firm in central Delhi, the police said Friday.

Kabir Ahmed (35) was arrested Thursday. During investigation it was learnt that he was earlier employed in the same company and knew about the functioning of the firm.
