A 35-year-old man was electrocuted to death in the capital Friday night, police said Saturday.

The incident took place Friday midnight when Sanjay Sharma, a resident of the Inder Puri area, was electrocuted while using a water pump, a police official said.

He was taken to the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead, the official added.
