A man was killed and another was injured when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck here Saturday, police said.

The accident took place when the truck ran over the motorcycle at around 4 a.m. near Azadpur Mandi area in northwest Delhi.

Rahul Kumar, 20, died on the spot while the pillion rider was injured, a police official said.

The truck driver has been arrested.
