Robbers loot Rs.400,000 from bank officials in Jharkhand

Robbers Monday looted Rs.400,000 at gun point from bank officials in Koderma district of Jharkhand, the police said.

According to the police, two officials of the Bank of India were taking cash from Jhumritilaiya branch to Kharogi branch of the bank.

Four men were waiting for them at Kanikendra jungle area of the district where they looted the officials at gun point.

In May, Rs.50 million and 1 kg of gold was looted by Maoist rebels on the Ranchi-Jamshedpur national highway.
