Four bombs found, defused in Rajasthan

From correspondents in Rajasthan, India, 11:00 PM IST

A crude bomb was found in Pali district of Rajasthan Wednesday, a day after three explosives were defused in the same district, the police said.

According to the police, the low-intensity bomb was found inside a plastic box in Pali, about 300 km from here.

A search operation team of the Rajasthan police spotted it in a roadside bush and a bomb disposal squad soon defused it.

The recovery comes after Bangalore and Ahmedabad were hit by serial bombings, killing at least 52 people, and 23 bombs were found in Surat.

In May, nine terror blasts ripped through Jaipur and left over 60 dead.
