A 32-year-old Nigerian national has been arrested at the Indira Gandhi International airport here with $39,900 in cash, custom officials said Wednesday.

Monday Morka was arrested Tuesday after he arrived at the airport from Johannesburg via Abu Dhabi on an Etihad Airways flight.

The official said currency worth Rs.1.7 million was stacked between pages of magazines found in his baggage.
