Jyoti Pal, a dancer with a local music band, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in the Gomtinagar neighbourhood here late Friday night, the police said.

Not ruling out the possibility of 'foul play', the police added that within the next 24 hours they would be able to ascertain the reason behind the death and collect leads to solve the case.

'Although married, Pal was living alone for more than a year now. We are looking for her husband to crack the case,' police officer B.P. Tiwari told IANS.
