Member of Delhi bikers' gang arrested in Tamil Nadu

Mohammed Israil, a member of the notorious 'bikers' gang', which is believed to be responsible for at least four murders and a spate of armed robberies in and around the national capital, was arrested in Tamil Nadu, police said Saturday.

Israil, who carried a reward of Rs.50,000, was arrested from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu Friday, a police officer said.

"On a specific information, a Delhi Police team left for Coimbatore, were Israil was hiding after the gang leader Bunty was shot dead with another accomplice Monday," the officer said.

"He was brought to Delhi Saturday morning and the police are interrogating him," the officer said.

Raghav Verma, another member of the gang, was arrested here Wednesday. After Israil's arrest, police is now looking for fifth member of the gang Shivom.
