Three girls, two of them sisters, drowned when they were swimming near a dam here Thursday evening, the police said.

Vineeta, 6, and Puja, 16, daughters of Rajaram Ahirwar, and Rekha, 10, daughter of Durjan Ahirwar slipped into deep waters of Khajuri Ratataal stop dam, according to the police.
