Several people were injured in an explosion in south Delhi Saturday, police said. The nature of the explosion is not yet known.

'We recieved a call at around 2.30 p.m. about an explosion near Jahaj Mahal in south Delhi,' a police official said.

'We are trying to ascertain the cause of the explosion,' he added.
