Gandhian philosophy has a solution to Maoist violence and rising terrorism activities worldwide, Chief Minister Raman Singh said here Thursday on the occasion of the 139th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
'Bapu's non-violence theory and his philosophy has solutions to all kinds of problems, even the rising terrorism incidents worldwide and Maoist violence,' Singh said at a function organised here.
Singh and several of his ministerial colleagues besides top officials first garlanded a statue of Gandhi at the venue and then addressed a meeting with main focus on 'how Gandhi's philosophy is becoming more and more relevant in the world with each passing years'.
