Six killed in road accident in Jharkhand

Six people, including three women and a child, died when the ambulance they were travelling in was hit by a truck in Jharkhand Friday, police said.

The private ambulance was returning from Ranchi to Gumla when the truck hit it near the Pati roundabout in Gumla district, about 140 km from here, according to police.

While the three women, the child and a man died on the spot, one more passenger died on way to hospital.

As many as 30 people have died in road accidents in different parts of the state in the past four days.
