Two foreigners arrested in Delhi with 3.3 kg heroin

Two foreign nationals have been arrested with 3.3 kg of heroin here, police said Tuesday.

Afghan national Zamari, 48, and a Nigerian were arrested with heroin worth Rs.35 million from Maidan Garhi in Mehrauli in south Delhi Friday, a police officer said.

'A special cell team arrested the duo while Zamari came to Maidan Garhi to hand over the packet carrying heroin to the Nigerian,' the officer said.

Zamari, a doctor, came to India in April and was staying in the national capital while the Nigerian has been in Delhi for a year.
