Modi interacts with Gujarati diaspora

From correspondents in Gujarat, India, 12:30 AM IST

Gujaratis living in any corner of the world will soon be able to contact anybody in the state through 24X7 e-connectivity, Chief Minister Narendra Modi said Sunday in his interaction through satellite with people of Gujarati origin in the US and Canada.

During the 100-minute question-answer session, part of the Gujarat Foundation Day celebrations, he shared his vision of progress with the diaspora.

People's participation and technology adoption had delivered tremendous results, Modi said.

Mr Modi, a pragmatic CM,and Gujaratis, incdg.diasporal, are dynamic, and econnectivity can be expected to be a success. No.of other states too have large diaspora there, but look, even the existing networks there are lying idle due to staff lethargy and mismanagement.
