Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday wished speedy recovery to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi, who has been admitted to a Chennai hospital after he complained of severe neck and back pain.

Singh also sent a bouquet of flowers, said an official note released by Prime Minister's Office here.

The DMK leader is under treatment in Sri Ramachandra Medical College hospital at Porur, Chennai.
