Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who recently underwent a cataract operation, had a 'routine' medical check-up at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here Sunday morning.
According to sources at AIIMS, a team of doctors checked Singh's eyes at the Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at the premier hospital.
'He was perfectly alright. It was a normal and routine check-up which was due after the prime minister underwent a minor cataract operation recently,' the source told IANS.
Singh, 75, had undergone a surgery for cataract removal in the right eye May 25 at AIIMS.
