Senior Hurriyat leader killed, curfew imposed in valley

Four people, including leader of Jammu and Kashmir's moderate Hurriyat group Shaikh Abdul Aziz, were killed in clashes with security personnel while they were marching towards the Line of Control in Baramulla district Monday. Curfew has been imposed across the valley.

Aziz, a senior separatist leader and executive member of the moderate Hurriyat faction, was allegedly killed in firing by security forces.

Authorities have imposed curfew in summer capital Srinagar and all other major cities and towns of the valley.
