Muslims unhappy over decline in representation

Muslims in Madhya Pradesh are up in arms against the Congress, saying it has not picked enough community members to contest the assembly elections. And they say they can't take it any more.11:00 AM on November 10

It will be unlikely that the Muslim community gets what it regards as its due communal representation in poll candidate selection of any party, despite the huge nos. of Muslims. This is because of the population composition on religious basis which no party can ignore in selection of poll contestants except to its peril. Nevertheless, instead of pleading for communalism, Muslims should be happy that there is a general political tide in favour of them in all matters. For the other part, they should try and upgrade their position through collective communal campaign for their uplift through identification with the mainstream of the nation and self discipline and hard work.
