Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was leading by 30,000 votes over his rival Shekhar Suman of Congress in Bihar's Patna Saheb constituency.

According to official sources, Shatrughan Sinha has established a comfortable lead over Shekhar Suman after three rounds of counting.
