AIADMK chief J. Jayalalithaa Saturday attributed the victory of the DMK-Congress combine in Tamil Nadu to the use of money power and called it 'a burial of democracy'.

In a statement here, she also termed the victory of Home Minister P. Chidambaram from Sivaganga as 'shameless'.

'Election Commission officials have declared Chidambaram elected from Sivaganga after having said initially that AIADMK candidate Raja Kannappan had won. Nothing could be more shameless,' Jayalalithaa said.
