Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sunday underwent what doctors said was 'a regular check-up' at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here.
'We have conducted some medical tests, including X-ray and blood tests, on him. He stayed in the hospital for two-and-a-half hours and is perfectly fine,' AIIMS medical superintendent D.K. Sharma told IANS.
Vajpayee, 84, reached the hospital at 11.10 a.m. for the check-up, Sharma said.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader was admitted to AIIMS Feb 3 following chest infection. He was on ventilator after his condition deteriorated but his health subsequently improved. He was discharged March 1.
