Chief Patron Mr. Ramdas Aggarwal, MP, Mr. Petr Suja of Czech Republic (1997 Euro-Asia champion), Mr. Durjay Singh (1996 Euro-Asia champion), Mr. Hojaev Hangeldi (President of Turkmenistan Federation), Mr. Boltayev (President of Uzbekistan Federation), Mr. Santosh Mangal, (CEO, Nexgen Edusolutions) and TKFI President Sensei Rajeev Sinha addressed a Press-conference at New Delhi today.

EURO-ASIA Traditional Karate Tournament, 2008
TKFI shall host 2008 Euro-Asia Traditional Karate Tournament on 3-4 December, 2008 at New Delhi where top countries from Europe and Asia shall compete.
There will be three events - Men’s Individual Kumite (fighting), Men’s Individual Kata (Forms) and Men’s Enbu (photo-finish fighting with most difficult techniques). As self-defense principles demand defense against any opponent regardless of size, Traditional Karate competitions are of open weight categories and demand exhibition of “Finishing blow”. Finishing blow is defined as a technique sufficient to destroy or neutralize an attacking opponent.
The Euro-Asia Tournament is set to become a major event in the worldwide karate circuit.
Traditional Karate Professional League
In a bid to popularize traditional karate as a spectator sport where athletes could be remunerated with professional match fees, TKFI shall launch Traditional Karate Professional League with in-house production of TV programs from 2009.
Project Shakti- Women Empowerment Program to train One crore women in the next 5 years
The most ambitious social project developed through years of research by Sensei Rajeev Sinha aims at training over ONE CRORE (10 millions) women in next 5 years. Project Shakti, the fast track program on body, mind & spirit, has unique features which empower women in truest sense to face challenges just after 6 days of program.
The fast-track “Project Shakti” includes:
1. Understanding of own external and internal bodies and the prowess hidden within
2. Techniques to look beyond average human limitation
3. Protection from future heart-attacks
4. Techniques to act correctly without prejudice or prejudgment in the moment of crisis

7. Techniques to strengthen Mental Energy
8. Perfection of Daily Activities
9. Fast-track Self-defense techniques
Project Shakti shall be implemented in major district headquarters of India.
International Seminar on Anti-ageing
TKFI, in collaboration with Himalayan yogis and the western scientists who are engaged in stem cell research, shall host International Seminar on anti-ageing. Researches have shown considerable increase in melatonin level amongst the practitioners of traditional karate and allied behavioral practices. This workshop is planned in 2009.
International Workshop on Traditional Karate & Management for enhanced productivity
The metaphysical elements of traditional karate provide individuals with the tools to strengthen their organizations using proven strategies and techniques which focus on: Personal Development, Business Strategy & Growth and Time Management, Improving mental abilities, Developing Leadership qualities, Developing confidence and motivation, Improving a health problem, Experiencing greater levels of inner peace, Lowering stress level / relieving anxiety, Experiencing greater spiritual connection, Experiencing better relationship, Relieving anger problems.
An International Workshop on Role of Traditional Karate in enhancing productivity shall be held in December 2008-2009.

Germany, Czech Republic, UK, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and hosts India shall participate in the International Workshop on Traditional Karate on April 26-28, 2008 at Amity International School Branch East Delhi, Mayur Vihar-I from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
