Chennai based Quintegra Solutions (NSE: QUINTEGRA; BSE: QUINTEGRA, Scrip Code: 532866) announced the achievement of ISO 27001:2005 certification. The announcement was made at Quintegra corporate office at 168 Eldams Road, by its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Murali Subrahmanyam.

“This certification is important as it generates client confidence in the solution provider. As Quintegra gears to deliver more services from its offshore locations in India, it is important that it generates confidence in handling data securely,” he said.

“At this juncture, some western clients perceive that legislation in India does not provide enough deterrents to ensure client data security. Since enforcement is also inadequate, it becomes incumbent on service providers to address these two drawbacks themselves. Through this certification, Quintegra Solutions will be able to demonstrate adequate measures to protect client data and therefore gain client confidence,” said Subrahmanyam.

Mr Shankarraman Vaidyanathan, the Chairman and Managing Director of Quintegra said, “From a horizontal services delivery perspective, we had achieved CMM Level 4. We plan to be a CMMi 5 by September of this year.
