Aptech Computer Education, the flagship brand of the Global Learning Solutions Company, Aptech Limited, organized a Job Fair on 21st June 2008 at the Utsav Ceremonial House, 134 Rash Behari Avenue in Kolkata.

This job fair was open for all job seekers, who were starting their career or were looking for better opportunities in IT industry.

Realizing the fact that IT and ITES organisations are parched for suitable manpower, global IT Training major, Aptech, has taken this initiative to bridge this gap between the employers and prospective employees.

Commenting on this Job Fair, Ms. Lajita Thampi, Placement Head - Aptech said, “Through this job fair in Kolkata, Aptech would be offering a unique platform for the aspiring candidates to reach out to the best of employers in the industry. This would be an opportunity for the young professionals to explore various avenues and growth prospects in the industry. And also an access for the employers to draw talent from Tier 2 cities.”

Leading companies participating are DataInfocom Software Solutions Pvt Ltd,,DS Infotech, Patel Information Technology Services, Euphoria Infotech, I - Net Solutions, Computronix services, Aptech Ltd & lading BPO cos. participated in this Job Fair to acquire a talent pool for their organization.

Around 650 students attended the job fair and 456 interviews took place. Group discussions for 194 students were organized. 50 students have been shortlisted.

Aptech Computer Education will continue this endeavour by organizing similar Job Fairs in other Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities across India.
