Solivar & Gayatri Vidya Parishad setup Training Centre; To train students in required skill sets of the industry

Solivar, a new generation company providing high quality solutions for Insurance and Life Sciences verticals, Headquartered in USA with a full fledged offshore facility at Hyderabad and Gayatri Vidya Parishad, Visakhapatnam enter a tie-up to setup a state-of-the-art Training Centre at the Indo–German Institute of Advanced Technologies (IGIAT), Gayatri Vidya Parishad (GVP) campus. With an aim to equip students and make them industry-ready and improve their employability prospects, specifically in the IT sector, the course at the training centre will initially focus on Dot Net, Java as well as Web 2.0 curriculum. At the end of the six month course, the students will be equipped with a industry recognized certificates. "The intensive curriculum will be supplemented with internship at Solivar wherein the candidates will get hands on experience in dealing with challenging projects in real time", informs Ms. Indira Porwal, Managing Director - Solivar.

Keeping in mind the requirements of the industry, the course is designed for final year students in M.Sc (IT & CS), B.Tech and MCA. The academic faculty for the Centre will be drawn from industry professionals who will bring their vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the trade to the table. Soft skills training has been built into the curriculum thus ensuring that at the end of the course, the student will be familiar with evolving technologies as well as the skill sets necessary to make him/her a success in the workplace. The first batch is scheduled to commence in September at IGIAT in the Gayatri Vidya Parishad campus.
