EPURON Asia-Pacific, the Singaporean subsidiary and regional headquarters of EPURON GmbH (a global leader in clean energy project development and structured finance) has been honoured with the Asia-Pacific Emerging Power Company of the Year Award by prestigious business research and consulting firm Frost and Sullivan.
This special prize recognises technology companies that have demonstrated superior growth potential in new and emerging markets. Special criteria also worthy of note are success in market factors such as revenue growth, market share, technological innovation and leadership.
“I am very happy to receive this award. This is a significant honour for EPURON just two years after our market entry in the Asia-Pacific. Since then, substantial growth in renewable energy has picked up rapidly in the region, evidenced by the rapid increase in project realization, government subsidies and interest from investors. Understanding the precise energy policies in Asia, the cash flow requirements of investors and meeting the challenges involved in deploying large-scale clean energy projects has always been our key focus, and we are glad that EPURON is on the right track,” said Venkittu Sundaram, Managing Director of EPURON India.
EPURON Asia-Pacific is headquartered in Singapore with branch offices in Australia, India, South Korea and Thailand, which are among the region’s strongest markets for investments in renewable energy projects. EPURON Asia-Pacific recently completed a 2 megawatt solar power plant in Hampyeong County, South Korea and is currently planning Australia’s largest wind farm in New South Wales at 1,000 megawatts.
