Fox Mandal Little (FML), one of India’s oldest and largest full service law firms announced the opening of its office at Kochi, Kerala. Located centrally at Girinagar Housing Colony, Kadavanthra, Kochi, the office is strategically situated close to all judicial forums and the central business hub. Mr. Shuva Mandal, Managing Partner, South India, will head the team at Kochi. The Kochi launch marks the opening of FML’s tenth office in India.
The new office is launched to serve as a gateway of legal expertise to various companies, private, public as well as statutory corporations, regarding a wide range of legal issues. Along with Mr. Mandal, two other prominent partners, Mr. Kaustuv Chunder and Mr. Shyamal Mukherjee will directly supervise the innovative solutions and enhanced legal services in this region. The Kochi office is a full fledged office with five lawyers and paralegal staff at present. FML has rightly positioned its premises two kilometersfrom the High court, two hundred meters from the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) as well as close to Mahatma Gandhiroad.

Formerly, FML, through its representative offices in Kochi and Trivandrum, had been advising clients on legal, corporate advisory, acquisitions, real estate, title documentation, litigation and business matters for decades. But after a study, the law firm concluded that opening an office in Kochi was the next logical step to serve their clients. In line with its growth, FML plans to open more such offices in various other cities in India and abroad. Currently, the firm has offices in India, UK and Bangladesh; in cities including Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dhaka, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida, New Delhi, London and Pune with representative offices at Coimbatore, Mangalore and Trivandrum.
