We will make The Commune as a brand for the common people and have plans to roll out the brand in ten cities within the next eighteen months. It took us four years to master the art of building affordable housing solution, but having achieved the break-through, we will roll out such projects in double speed to fulfill people’s aspirations.
From the start we were clear that we did not want to compromise the following while developing the concept were: quality of the construction, the aesthetics, the features and amenities and the location! And I am proud that we have been able to deliver a product that has all these! It is a proud moment for Golden Gate to get the encouragement of the Honorable Chief Minster and the Govt. of Karnataka in our efforts to deliver such a product.”

Chief Minister’s comment on the ‘The Commune’ project
It could mark the beginning of private-public partnership in the sate. It is time the Real Estate sector stepped forward and joins hands with the Government effort to provide quality yet affordable housing solutions for the common people. My government is keen to form partnerships with the private sector to offer affordable solutions in the sectors of housing, education, food and health-care services. A roof above the head is every man’s dream and the need of the hour is quality housing that is affordable for the masses. The Commune has set a distinct trend and I urge enterprises to come forward with more such projects to help masses achieve their dreams”. He also said that affordable housing can indirectly propel the growth required in priority sector lending by enabling the common man to avail of the credit facility as envisaged by the RBI. The mini-stadium that comes with the Commune project also attracted the CM’s attention. He opined that providing a captive sporting facility in a project like this would go a long way in inculcating the sporting culture among the people who do not have access to such infrastructure and hence cannot hone their sporting skills. He specifically urged the Real Estate sector to look beyond the rich and make the city’s growth more equitable and inclusive by providing housing solutions for all.

Get on, get honour, get honest - goes an old saying. This is NOT of the real estate/ builders/developers. It is all the time the first phrase, Get on, by strictly FOUL means and cheating. Joining the billionaire club by hook or crook is the dream of these guys, through a GOLDEN GATE route.
SORRY I HAVE TO JOIN THE UNANIMOUSLY DEPLORABLE OBSERVATION OF REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS. The CM of Karnataka wants this business to remember poorer sections in its schemes and support the govt.'s drive to ameliorate the conditions of the poor. It will probably be done, but only by more cheating of the better off people and also putting some money as commission for this cheating service.
In Bangalore,Deve Gowda led JDS and Congress are said to put all obstacles for road building for res. complexes in KOramangala and other areas.(If roads are to be built, they cut through lands cornered by partymen using goons and benamis.)
Almot all buyers of flats/houses from Bangalore builders/developers are victims of their abominable greed to cough up huge unaccounted money for all kinds of invented reasons and perverse legal interpretations. No proper receipts for the moneys are received. The buyers are unable to unite to safeguard their interests even after getting the sale deed. NRI and local speculators buy flats and dont care what they pay, with the easy money. Most builders keep maintenance as their job and charge exorbitant rates. No NGOs.for voicing or agitating agasint this roguishness of the builders who do not sell many flats in price rise expectation.Politicians do not care for the sufferings of the people who trusted and voted them.
CONCLUDED : It is highly doubtful whether there is even a SINGLE exception to the above rule in respect of the Real Estate agents. Due to current bank loans for building having become somewhat costlier to RE men,the malpractices have become more ruthless with peculiar agreement interpretations. These fellows also lie, when booking flat sale, that their residential complexes/buildings will soon have good road connection with main roads.Actually, only horrible muddy paths are to be used for far too long, due to politicians having blocked the lands and rivals fighting and not agreeing to let roads be built.
By now people have almost concluded that real estate business in India, and more particularly in Bangalore, has devised too many methods of appearing honest in the first. After a substantial part of money is collected, many hidden costs keep showing up, to the dismay of buyers, including those shown as charges for erroneously understated area. RESIDENTIAL COMPLEXES ARE KEPT TIED TO R.E.AGENTS FOR 'MAINTENANCE' FOR A LONG TIME,DUE TO THEIR DODGING SALE FOR HIKE IN PER.SQ.PRICE.Their Mtce.charges are simply intolerable. Glib attitude of Govt.towards R.E.will be intolerable.
