ASUS opens Royal Club to empower customers with technical know-how

ASUS, today announced its expansion of service outlets in India with its first in Bangalore and second exclusive ASUS Royal Club in India. The company has also announced this service center especially for component products like motherboard, optical drives and graphics cards. This is a part of the investment of Rs. 20 crore that the company has allotted to expand its service initiatives in India. The unique proposition of ASUS Royal Club is that it will offer basic training sessions about ASUS’ technology from trained service engineers to customers who register themselves at the service center.

“In today’s technological world it is important to know your gadgets. We believe that there is a large customer base in India who is very passionate about their gadgets or would like to know about it. At ASUS Royal Club, we help our customers connect with their gadgets. We are opening our own service centers to understand the customer’s problems and give better solutions. In the second stage of our initiative to enhance our service support we also plan to provide service to our up country customers” said Mr. Albert Tung – Managing Director, ASUS (India).

Customers who register themselves at the Royal Club within one month of its opening also get an extended three months warranty on their ASUS products. The company also provides 2 years global warranty on all its notebooks and onsite service for its high end notebook the ASUS Lamborghini VX3. At these exclusive service centers, ASUS will provide free diagnosis for all notebooks. This along with its toll free number that was started earlier this year will help to provide world class service to ASUS products.

ASUS plans to set up an extensive service network in India. This year, ASUS plans to set up 7 such ASUS Royal Clubs spread across approximately 1000 square meters in five Indian cities to provide quality service to its customers across the country. By the end of this year, the company plans to open one exclusive service center in Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai and two each in Mumbai and Bangalore. The company has also announced a second service center to be opened in Bangalore within Q4. In addition to this, the company has a network of service partners providing service at 187 service outlets across the country for ASUS products.
