The Second Brandsmith Vintage & Classic Bike Drive an event of its kind for the second time in Delhi

From correspondents in Delhi, India, 07:58 PM IST

Recently, Brandsmith, a leading promotions and events company with many innovative campaigns and niche events to its credit with top Indian and international clients organised the Second Vintage Bike drive. The event made every one sing the song 'CRAZY KIYA RE...'. Forty of the world's best vintage motorbikes from the world participated in the event. Amongst the many riders was Bollywood's Bad Man 'Gulshan Grover', who was the main attraction for the people present there.

Flagged off by the Bad Man Gulshan Grover himself, the drives took a drive around the Asiad Village Complex. It was a unique experience for Delhittes. During the drive the main attraction of the viewers were the bikes of 1898 and 1930 which were almost 100 and 75 years old respectively.

Modern bikes are said to be the first choice of youngsters today but the enthusiasm of the young generation during the rally showed that old bikes have their own charm.

The second Brandsmith vintage & classic bike drive is an initiative by leading brand promotions company Brandsmith, which also successfully manages the Statesman Vintage car rally apart from other national and international events, essentially to support, preserve & encourage vintage biking in India. "Vintage bikes are often neglected with large vintage collectors focusing more on cars and hence Brandsmith came up with this drive to highlight & showcase these timeless machines, apart from providing the bikers their moment of glory," explained Rahul Mittra, CEO, Brandsmith.

Mahesh Kapoor (MD, Asiad Village Complex) congratulated Brandsmith for organising this unique achievement and said this is a wonderful event through which people will be aware about Vintage Biking in India and in the near future they will take part with more excitement.

Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover, a great vintage enthusiast himself said, "I have shared a very special relationship with Brandsmith and am delighted having participated in this year's bike drive."

On this occasion Carlos Yrigoyen (Deputy High Commissioner of Peru) with wife, Gurinder Singh, Sandeep Marwah, Mahesh Kapoor, Ramesh Nambiyar, Rahul Mittra & his wife amongst others were present there.
