Kirloskar Brothers Ltd., a leading global water management solutions company & Ion Exchange Services Ltd, a total water management solutions provider in Asia today announced that they have tied-up to expand its customer service reach for Building and Construction sector in India by offering them 24x7 service back up and comprehensive pumping solutions, even in the remotest corners of the country. The customers to benefit would be Airport , Metros , Hotels, Hospitals, Shopping Complexes, all Commercial buildings, Water parks, large Residential Townships & Special Economic Zones.
The MOU was signed between Mr. Dinesh Sadasivan, Executive Director & CEO, IESL and Mr. Pradeep Chapalgaonkar, Sector Head, KBL in the presence of Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman and MD, KBL, Mr. Rajesh Sharma, Vice Chairman and MD, Ion Exchange (India) Ltd and Mr R.K. Srivastava Director, KBL.
Commenting on the tie-up, Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar,Chairman and M.D., KBL, said – “When a pump customer entrusts the operation and maintenance of his pumping systems to branded and reliable companies like KBL and IESL which have operated in India for over 50 years and understand the local needs, he can rest assured of spending the lowest possible on maintenance of his pumps and getting maximum value with trouble free 24 x 7 service. This association will help us to better reach our customers whether they are located in big cities or in small towns. This will ensure that every Indian gets uninterrupted water supply of the best possible quality while allowing utility providers to do so in the most economical manner”
Mr R K Srivastava, Director KBL said “The requirement of service for pumps for this sector is generally felt to be very critical due to utilities like drinking water supply, air conditioning systems, Water & sewage treatment, fire fighting, swimming pool, gardening etc. This sector being wide spread ed , the service is left over to local technicians who don’t have sufficient knowledge in pumping equipments. IESL who has a good network of 1200 Service engineers and technicians and KBL who has more then 1000 company ‘s authorised and technically Qualified sales dealers made a good combination to provide Presales and after sales service. Our idea is that no individual should face the problem of water which is the necessity and this is possible when company’s qualified & trained service engineers are available near to customer”
Announcing the service alliance, Mr. Dinesh Sadasivan, Executive Director & CEO, said “ The tie-up with KBL represents a strategic expansion of services in water conservation and energy savings to KBL customers in the building and institutional segment”. He briefed the concept of Total Water and Waste Water Management Solutions and Operation and Maintenance Contracts from IESL as a partnership approach to business with customers. He outlined the customized service packages like Enviro-care Services focusing on sewage and effluent treatment services and Instaa Services a specialized service approach for institutional customers.
