ITSMA, the leading marketing association for technology, communications, and professional services firms, today announced the finalists in its eleventh annual Marketing Excellence Awards program.
"Each year I am amazed at the level and number of excellent award submissions we receive, this year was no exception," said Dave Munn, president and CEO of ITSMA. "All of the applicants deserve recognition for their outstanding marketing contributions across all six categories. The finalists, in particular, we want to congratulate for their leadership in marketing innovation, program execution, and achieving strong bottom-line results."
In 2008, ITSMA accepted nominations in six categories. Up to five finalists have been chosen in each category. An international jury of marketing executives and experts will select the winners, which will be announced at a special awards dinner during ITSMA's 2008 Marketing Conference [http://www.itsma.com/events/event_desc/08AC11N32.htm] on November 4, 2008, at the new Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.
This year's finalists include:
- Generating Demand: Sun Microsystems, Unisys Corporation (two programs), Xerox
- Launching New Solutions: HP, IBM
- Enabling Sales: Accenture, Alcatel-Lucent, Ingram Micro, Xerox (two programs)
- Leveraging Digital Marketing: Accenture UK, Accenture NA, Agilent/PARTNERS+simons, Autotask, Xerox
- Sharpening Brand and Competitive Differentiation: Accenture, BT Americas, CompuCom, EDS, TCS
- Strengthening Customer Relationships: AT&T (two programs), Fujitsu, Patni, Wipro
