Air Arabia wins the Best Branding Experience Award at India Travel Mart, Jaipur

Air Arabia, India’s first foreign low-cost carrier (LCC) and the first and largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa has won the ‘Best Branding Experience Award’ for an airline at the Indian Travel Mart exhibition which was held in Jaipur recently.

Commenting on Air Arabia winning the award at ITM, Mr. A K Nizar, Head of Commercial Department of Air Arabia, said, “We were extremely happy with the response that we received from customers who participated in the Indian Travel Mart. We dedicate this award to our staff and we re-assure our commitment to continue to participate in such platforms and engage with a larger section of people.”

The theme of the ITM for 2008-2009 was “Holidays 365 & Family friendly destinations”. The India Travel Mart is one of India’s most prominent International Travel & Tourism Marts. India Travel Mart (ITM) brings people together to promote Inbound, Outbound and Domestic Tourism in unique style. ITM offers unlimited opportunities for everyone to explore the market and publicize their destination/ product/ organization at one place.

Air Arabia has served more than 10 million passengers since the carrier was launched in October 2003. Passenger traffic reached 1.6 million passengers during the first half of 2008, a 33 per cent increase compared to 1.2 million passengers during the same period last year.
