18th XBRL International Conference to Examine How Structured Data Can Provide Greater Accuracy and Accountability in Securities Markets and Government Reporting

XBRL International and XBRL US will host a conference in Washington, DC, October 15-16, 2008 that will outline how structured data can improve the decision-making process for investors, governments and others. The 18th XBRL International Conference, Better Reporting for Better Decisions: by Managers, Investors, Governments and Citizens, which will be held at the Reagan Building and International Trade Center, will be a global forum drawing together business leaders from around the world to discuss the impact of XBRL reporting and how its use at the point of origination can result in greater clarity of information, stronger accountability from corporations, governments and financial institutions and better usability of information by key audiences.
