The MobileStore was conferred with the "Most Admired Retailer of the Year - Mobile and Telecom" Award, at the India Retail Forum 2008, held in Mumbai.
The India Retail Forum is a congregation of some of the best retail brands, companies and minds from across the globe, from diverse segments - retail real estate and design & architecture, to visual merchandising, retail support and technology. The Images Retail Awards, with a view to acknowledging and rewarding success in retail, felicitated India's top retail companies, professionals and concepts, in a glittering ceremony, attended by top notch professionals from the Retail Industry.
The "Most Admired Retailer of the Year - Mobile and Telecom" Award recognized and honoured the giant strides made by the Mobilestore in pioneering and driving the growth of organized Telecom Retail, in India, in a relatively short duration of time, since The MobileStore was launched in March 2007. The other nominees, in the Mobile and Telecom space, vying for this position, were Subhiksha Mobile, Airtel, Tata Indicom, Reliance World and Nokia.
On receiving the Award, Mr Rajiv Agarwal, CEO and Director, The MobileStore Limited, said "It is a matter of great honour and pride to receive this prestigious Award at the India Retail Forum.
