Bharat Thapar of Lucknow and Amit Luthra of Delhi stole the limelight at the final of the ICICI Bank Private Banking Masters Golf tournament by winning the gross and nett titles respectively here Monday.

'It was a fantastic experience and lovely to play at Aamby. We got to meet so many other fellow golfers and it was of very high standard. ICICI has done a great job, everything was perfect,' said Thapar, after winning the gross title.

The final at the Aamby Valley golf course also marked the successful end to the series, which started in November and travelled through 17 cities.

Winners in both gross and nett categories from each of the 17 cities where the series was held competed in the final here.

'It was a superlative tournament. Being a professional chartered accountant, it was great for networking also,' said Luthra.
