Kings XI Punjab captain Yuvraj Singh struck a half century to help his team put up 166 for eight against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League match here Monday.

Electing to bat first, Yuvraj raced to 57 in 34-balls with the help of six fours and three sixes after his team was 73/4 at one stage. Karan Goel (26) and Piyush Chawla (24) were the other contributors with the bat.

Royals' captain Shane Warne (3-19) and pacer Sidharth Trivedi (2-25) were the main wicket-takers.
