The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium here was abandoned Thursday night due to heavy showers.

Not a single ball could be bowled as rain left pools of water at several spots on the ground.

This is the first IPL match to be called off. Both teams get a point each.
