India's campaign in New Delhi Challenger ends

From correspondents in Delhi, India, 10:02 PM IST

The last of Indian pair, Purav Raja and Rohan Gajjar meekly surrendered to the British pair Joshua Goodall and James Ward in the semi-finals of the $50,000 New Delhi Challenger at the DLTA complex here Thursday.

The fourth-seeded Indian pair looked out of sorts as they went down to the unseeded Britons 6-4, 6-2. Goodall and Ward next play Hiroki Kondo and Tasuku Iwami, who thrashed Czech Tomas Cakl and Dieter Kindlmann of Germany 6-4, 6-3.

With the exit of Raja- Gajjar, none of the Indians are left in the fray, having already exited from the singles.
