Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee Monday congratulated Saina Nehwal on winning the Chinese Taipei Grand Prix Gold badminton championship.

World No.14 Saina, seeded second, beat Malaysia's Cheah Li Ya Lydia 21-8, 21-19 Sunday to win her career's second Grand Prix tournament held in Taiwan.

Chatterjee hoped that Saina, who put up a spirited performance to reach the quarterfinals in the Beijing Olympics, will bring many more laurels to the country.
