When Board President's XI takes on Australia here Thursday, skipper Yuvraj Singh will be looking to prove a point or two for himself.
Yuvraj, who has come to being the mainstay of the Indian one-day middle order, still struggles to book a Test berth. He was left out of the 15-member Test squad for the two Tests against Australia that begins Oct 9.
But the Punjab southpaw who has been going through a patchy form of late is determined to put his case strong during the four-day match.
'Selection is not in my hands but I'm confident of getting my form back. This match is a great opportunity for me. There were some flaws in my batting but I have worked on those areas.,' Yuvraj said here Thursday.
'Moreover, I'll be proving a point to myself, rather than to others. Every time you go out there you want to show you belong.'
