Australia were 74 for two at tea in their second innings on the fourth day of the first cricket Test against India here Sunday.

Australia, who made 430 in their first innings and bowled out India for 360, led by a total of 144 runs.

Michael Hussey (12) and Simon Katich (21) were at the crease at tea.
