Indian shuttler Arvind Bhat bowed out of the China Open Super Series badminton losing to Kai Wen of China in the quarterfinal at Shanghai Friday.

Bhat lost 13-21, 10-21.

With the loss, India's challenge in the tournament too has ended as Chetan Anand and Saina Nehwal lost their first round matches.
